The original Appartamento gives you one fixed temperature, and that's it. The TCA version adds what's missing: choose the boiler pressure from four settings to suit your roast, with a new group head that heats up faster and a standby mode that saves electricity.
Three additions to the Appartamento
Four temperature settings
Choose the boiler pressure from 0.9 to 1.2 bar: raise the temperature for dark roasts and lower it for light roasts. This is control the standard Appartamento doesn't offer.
New group head
An updated design delivers better temperature stability and faster heating than the previous design, along with a water-level sensor and a wider drip tray.
Standby mode
The machine enters energy-saving mode when you're not using it, so you can leave it on all day without worrying about your electricity bill.

What's the difference between the TCA and the standard Appartamento?
They share the same heat exchanger and 1.8-liter boiler. The TCA adds four temperature settings, a new group head, and an energy-saving mode. See the standard Appartamento.
What is the benefit of the four settings?
Each roast has an ideal temperature: dark roasts need less heat, while light roasts need more. Instead of settling for one setting, you can choose from four.
Does it have a grinder?

How do I care for it?
