Product description
Bincoo SM13 Manual Coffee GrinderOne grinder for espresso, pour-over, and French press
Ground coffee loses most of its aroma within the first fifteen minutes, which is why grinding to order makes a difference in the cup. The SM13 adjusts externally, letting you switch between a fine espresso grind and a coarse French press grind without taking it apart.
What to set it to for each method
Fine grind
Espresso needs the finest setting because water passes through it under high pressure and in a short time. Grind your dose immediately before brewing, and if the extraction runs too quickly, adjust it finer.
Medium grind
For pour-over methods such as V60 and Chemex. A medium grind lets the water flow evenly through the coffee bed instead of pooling on top or running through too quickly.
Coarse grind
French press and immersion methods need a coarse grind because the coffee stays in the water for several minutes. A fine grind here gives you bitterness and sediment in the cup.
What makes the grind consistent
46 mm grinding burr
The wider burr grinds the dose in fewer rotations and reduces excess fines, giving you particles that are closer in size.
Steel gears
The steel gears withstand daily use and reduce shaft play, which is what harms grind consistency in inexpensive grinders.
External grind adjustment
Change the grind setting from outside the grinder without removing the burr, switching between espresso and pour-over in seconds.
Usage warning
Never wash the grinder with water. Moisture can reach the internal parts and cause the burr and gears to rust. Clean it dry with the included brush, wipe the outer body with a dry cloth, and do not use excessive force when turning the handle or adjusting the grind setting.

Questions asked before ordering
What is the difference between the standard and titanium-coated editions?
The difference is the coating on the grinding burr. The titanium coating increases surface resistance to wear over extended use. Both editions have the same 46 mm size, and the price difference appears when you select the version from the options above.
Is it really suitable for espresso?
Yes, it reaches fine settings suitable for espresso. Since it is manual, fine grinding takes more effort than medium or coarse grinding, which is normal with all manual grinders.
How do I clean it?
Dry cleaning only. Use the included cleaning brush to remove coffee residue from the burr and internal parts. You can also use an air blower for stuck residue. Water is prohibited.
What colors are available?
The standard edition is available in white, black, silver, red, and purple. The titanium-coated edition is available in white, black, silver, and red. The option you choose above is the one you will receive.
