Read this before ordering
This is the mainland China version (CH/A model), and it differs from global versions in three ways: it does not support eSIM at all; FaceTime audio and group calls are disabled by software and cannot be enabled through any setting (FaceTime video works normally); and Wi-Fi appears in the settings as WLAN. Does it work on Saudi networks?
Yes, it is unlocked for STC, Mobily, and Zain on 5G. Insert the SIM card and it works right away.
Can I activate eSIM later?
No. The China version has no eSIM support in its hardware or software, and no update can enable it. If you need eSIM, choose the Hong Kong version.
What doesn’t work with FaceTime?
One-to-one video calls work. Audio and group calls are disabled at the factory in accordance with Chinese regulations and cannot be enabled by changing the region. WhatsApp, Snapchat, and all other apps work normally.
Is there any difference in performance or the camera?
No, the hardware is identical across all versions: the same chip, cameras, display, and battery.
How does the warranty work?
The warranty is provided by Rafaa Store. Apple dealers in Saudi Arabia do not have replacement parts for the dual-SIM version because the Saudi version is eSIM-only, so contact us directly for any issue.
